Film or TV?

A film needs one clear story told in around two hours. A series can follow more characters over a longer time, and give subplots room to breathe.

Books that often suit TV include long or multi-book stories, ensemble casts, crime and mystery with a new case each episode, and memoirs that cover many years of a life.

TV adaptations vary more than films, depending on the length of your book and how many episodes the series bible covers, so we quote each one individually.
